With the 2018-2019 ‘Healthy Workplaces Manage Dangerous Substances’ campaign, we want to strive for a working environment that is healthy and productive for employees. Effective management of safety and health risks in the workplace benefits everyone involved. It is good for workers, good for society as a whole and good for business.

The effective management of work-related exposures to dangerous substances is only possible if everyone in the workplace is well informed about the risks and the measures that can be taken to prevent them. A major success factor in preventing accidents and ill health at work is creating a culture of risk prevention, where everyone understands that safety and health is important to the organisation as a whole.

The Healthy Workplaces Good Practice Awards

The Healthy Workplaces Good Practice Awards serve as a platform for sharing information and promoting good practices across Europe with the help of concrete examples of organisations. We would like to invite all our colleagues, European employers, or other business partners and professionals on Operational Health and Safety at the workplace levels to participate. The winners will receive an award at a ceremony in April 2019.
